Yes, ONLY for students studying on F-1 visas IF approved and the employment is specifically related to their field of study. Students studying on M-1 visas are ONLY eligible to apply for PostCompletion OPT opportunities (after graduation).

 

Yes, students studying on both M-1 + F-1 Visas may apply for a temporary driver’s license.

 

Yes, ONLY for students studying on F-1 visas, IF approved and the employment is specifically related to their field of study.

Students studying on M-1 visas are only eligible to apply for up to a maximum of 6 months OPT IF approved and the employment is specifically related to their field of study (1 month of OPT opportunity is accrued for every 4 months of study completed, maxing out at 6 months of OPT, regardless of the program length). Example: A student who completes the 21 month AMT program on an M-1 student visa is only eligible to apply for a maximum of 5 months of OPT opportunity (if approved).

 

H-1B visa opportunities are ONLY available to individuals who hold a minimum of a bachelorette degree (or its equivalent), or higher. These opportunities are offered by the employer (if applicable) and are very unlikely due to the limit on H-1B visas awarded annually.

 

Students studying on M-1 student visas are allowed a 30-day departure grace period following their Form I-20 Program End Date (PED) for graduation or OPT. Students studying on F-1 student visas are allowed a 60-day departure grace period following their Form I-20 Program End Date (PED) for graduation or OPT.
